Dough and bake calculator
Tell it the size of your cutter, how thick you roll the dough and how many cookies you want. It works out the dough, the ingredients, the bake time and the trays. All in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere.
How it works
The dough for one cookie is its area times the thickness times the density of the dough (about 1.1 g per cm³ for sugar cookie dough). The ingredient amounts are a classic recipe scaled to that weight. Bake times are starting points at the oven temperature shown: thicker and bigger cookies bake longer, and a fan oven or a dark tray need a cooler oven. Check the first batch a minute before the earliest time and write down what works for your oven.
